Movies with good message

Lage Raho MunnabhaiLast weekend I had seen, Lage Raho Munnabhai (LRMB). I really liked the movie. It was made on good subject. It really makes me think that how Mahatama Gandhi could have felt if he would have seen that so much corruption, violence, non tolerance, impatience has grown so much within us. A movie like LRMB makes us feel guilty by showing the truth that Gandhi’s name is there on the Indian currency but not in hearts.

Movie can’t change a terrorist to a noble person but it does affect a normal human being. Movie like Gadar, in which dialogues like “We have given money to Pakistan for the establishment” is wrong. Such dialogue increase the differences between communities. Why to quote such things, not knowing the truth? The money which been given was actually the right of the Pakistan because it was the division and we have to give their part of share. The worse is the effect of such movies on Children’s. They learn the differences between the religion.

I was very delighted when I saw LRMB. It was comedy with a hidden message. Personally, I don’t like to write about the movies on the blog, but this time I really wanted to write for LRMB. It’s worth every penny & writing about.

Pati, Patni aur Woh (Husband, Wife and someone)

Here “Someone” is our home PC, which we have purchased few days before. I was excited when we bought it and got more when the internet facility was also there. I thought I will play games, surf net, do some chatting, but it has become a challenge for me. 24 hrs in week ends and 6 hrs on week days, my partner get busy in the PC.

I am so fed up now; I don’t feel like doing anything on PC, even if it’s free. I didn’t know it is such a pain. In the night whenever I open my eyes, I see my partner writing alien language on the PC. The most frustrating is that he doesn’t do the normal things on PC, like playing easy games, chatting, surfing some interesting stuff etc etc. His games are also complicated like his work on PC. Many times I have tried to play the games which he plays but games become more challenging to play then to enjoy.

The only time I have enjoyed being PC at home, when I have watched the DVD of Underworld 1 and Scary movies 2 with him. Not after that.

Sigh, it’s so difficult to manage an IT guy when the PC is at home.

Oh My God I am Back again

After taking a long break of one month from blogging, today I thought let me post something on blog. I was kind of bored from the blog thing. I know, I am not steady at all, I get bored if I do it in excess. Instead of blogging, I did Orkut and one of the silly game.

Orkut was fun when I joined, found my batchmates of the college, but soon got to know that, it’s good to maintain the distance. I have lost that thrill also. I have got a obsession of game which was “Gold Miner”. It is very stupid game, doesn’t require any brain storming but it was good time pass. Soon I realized that because of game, my office work was suffering a lot. I have become totally absent minded. Now I thought let me go back to my blog, post some entry, may be this will help me tomorrow or day after to again get the addiction of writing in blog. It’s far better then Orkut and Gold Miner.

Life is as usual as it was. Lots of matter to be discussed and to be shared. I will start writing from tomorrow, considering this as my return back to blog world.

Cya guys tomorrow
Cheers

Taking a break

Apparently I have got bored from blog. So many things keep on moving in my head. I have so many topics to write. Not that, I create them, but I experienced them and feel like sharing at my blog. I prepare all the content but this time, I am becoming too lazy to write at my blog. Day before I wanted to write on “I wish I would be a boy”, then yesterday I wanted to write on “wrong education to Children’s”, few days before I wanted to write about my father in law and today I wanted to write on “going to Bangalore”.

Yea, tomorrow I am flying to Bangalore. I will be back on 16th. Let’s see if I make post in any of those topics on which I wanted to write. I have not checked so many blogs for quite some time. Sometimes I become so lazy that I even don’t feel like typing anything, just wanted to keep on playing chess. That is the new interest I have developed.

I have to go to home now.

Have a splendid week end

General

I have nothing particular to share nor did anything happen where I felt to share at my blog.

It was pouring so much since last 3 days. The week end I have spent playing Uno with family at home. It was fun. We have purchased PS also, it will be delivered today. Too many adjustments we need to do to put the Computer table and the CPU.

I am reading Sydney Sheldon (The Dooms day) from last one month and still its left. Most of the time when I start reading it, I feel like sleeping. May be because I love short stories not the novel. It’s a new interest I am trying to develop (lol). Since 7 months I have taken 4th novels to read, the previous 3 novels I have left in between. The first two were from the author Paulo Coelho and other two were from Sydney Sheldon. However I have almost finished “Calvin and Hobbes” comic, it’s too good. Yesterday I have completed few of the chapters of Sydney Sheldon, as if I am taking it as a School assignment where I have to read. I will update about it once I finish it.

On Week ends I have the duty of making lunch. Luckily, this time my chapattis were not in bad shape. I am practicing it from last 7 months, but still every time it’s a challenge. Lunch was also fine, not good as mom but still eatable (rest my partner can comment, how was that).

I am waiting for the Rakhi desperately, after Rakhi, Sawan will ends and I can again start eating non veg. It’s almost been a month; oh I am missing egg cakes so much.

Let me stop this and continue my office work.

Office Tips

Why blame Politicians, office people can also do good politics.

They don’t miss a single chance to degrade another person in front of Director/ Boss. If by any chance you make a mistake, don’t expect that senior will come to you and advise you something. He will officially write a mail, with a cc mark to hundred names. If there is an appreciation mail, it will be only send to you. All the other names will vanish.

Most of the time, Director/ Boss has never been aware of the internal office politics. He listens to the person next to him. The harassment and pressure on other level he can never understand. The subordinates also fear to report about the senior to the Director and more likely there are more chances of you loosing job then to him. The more you grow the more power you gain. Director/ Boss will think twice to comment or fire the senior designated person but on subordinates he can do it as a time pass, at any time, all frustrations can be relived by scolding you.

In one of the forwarded mail by collogue, he sent important tips.

1) Never walk without a document in your hands: People with documents in their hands looks like hardworking employees heading for important meetings. People with nothing in their hands looks like they’re heading for the canteen. People with the newspaper in their hands looks like they’re heading for the toilet. Above all, make sure you carry loads of stuff home with you at night, thus generating the false impression you work longer hours than you do.

2) Use computers to look busy: Any time you use a computer, it looks like “work” to the casual observer. You can send or receive personal email, chat, blog and generally have a blast without doing anything remotely related to work. When you get caught by your boss- and you “will” get caught- your best defense is to claim you’re teaching yourself to use new software’s, thus saving valuable training expenses.

3) Messy Desk: Top management can get away with a clean desk. For the rest of us, it looks like we are not working hard enuf. Build huge piles of documents around your workspace. To the observer, last year’s work looks the same as today’s work; it’s volume that counts. PILE THEM HIGH AND WIDE. If you know somebody is coming to you desk, bury the document you’ll need halfway down in an existing stack and rummage for it when he/ she arrives.

4) Looking impatient and annoyed: Always try to look impatient and annoyed to give your bosses the impression that you are always busy.

5) Leave the office late: Always leave the office late, esp’ when the boss is still around. You could read magazines or storybooks that you always wanted to read but have no time until late before leaving. Make sure you walk past the boss’ room on your way out. Send important emails on unearthly hours (eg. 2135 hrs, 0705 hrs, etc) and during public holidays.

6) Creating Sighing Effect: Sigh loudly when there are many people around, giving the impression that you are under extreme pressure.

7) Stacking Strategy: It is not enuf to pile lots of documents on the table. Put lots of books on the floor etc (thick computer manuals are the best)

You can use these tips. I know one of my collogue who really follows the same and her subordinate sent me this mail. I was thinking he should send it to her to let her know that we understand that it’s just giving the wrong impression to Directors that they are too busy doing work, not that they are very hardworking or smart at work.

Boring Day

It’s such a boring day today.

I am waiting for some mail, after that I can start my office work. I don’t feel like chatting also. I am quite fed up now playing chess again and again at my desktop. I won few games when I have started early morning, now I keep on loosing, don’t have any patience left to use my brain.

Some days are so boring. I don’t even feel like going home. Ah, can someone arrange bedding at my office, I won’t mind sleeping here.

I need a break, want to chill out with friends, go to some movie like Omkara or Pirates of Caribbean. Sigh, I don’t have any friends here. Sucheta is there but she is too elder to me, I feel like respecting her then to have fun with her. Another option is my Partner, and then I have to check his availability. We become so dependant sometimes. Oh God, why all old people at my office, no one of my age group. I should be in HR department; I could have recruited all young people in the office.

What a crap I am posting, anyways how does it matter.

Have a nice day ahead
