It was Jet Airways flight from Mumbai to Delhi. I was sitting next to a young married couple. It was second row from the Loo. One lady came, entered the loo and she didnt latch the door. I dont know why, may be she couldnt understand where is the lock. From the gap, all the people sitting in the first two rows can see her sitting on pot. It was very embarrasing. The young couple sitting next to me was laughing like anything. I was feeling very pity to her, but I also couldnot stop laughing. On top of that, she went twice to loo and both the time she didnt latch. Her husband also went to loo, he also didnt tell her that it is visible from outside.
I was narrating this incident to two of my freinds in office. One of them also shared experience similar to this. One lady forget to lock the door and she was wearing skirt. A young boy, 18 yr old entered the loo when she was sitting on pot. Both of them got so embarrased that later they were finding difficult to face each other.
My another friend was telling me that in her previous office there was a lady (who was not Indian), she used to say, this is natural thing so there is no need to lock the door. All the peons used to stand outside the loo when she used to go so that it wont be embarrasing for others. (No offense to people who follow the same practice)
